Redesign Process
We translated research insights into clear UX principles that guided the product experience. Values like accessibility, simplicity, and innovation served as our foundation, informing every design decision and creating a cohesive, user-centered journey.
We then established core design principles, prioritized key pages, and developed high-level layout frameworks (“box-outs”) to define each page’s purpose and structure.
This approach ensured a clear content hierarchy, alignment with user needs, and visual consistency throughout the product.

Path & Lesson Pages

Card Component Design Process
The card component includes two primary types: lesson cards and path cards. Each type is designed to serve distinct user needs, with tailored layouts and interactions that enhance usability and clarity across the platform.

Drafting Toward Direction
In the early draft, the card design included a cover image. we decided to remove it, considering not only scalability and consistency, but also the content effort involved.
Using images would have required a reliable source, continuous production resources, and a clear strategy to ensure they added meaningful value throughout the experience."

Focused UX Interaction
One animation draft explored a “popcorn” effect expanding the hovered card while fading out the others.
While it delivered clear, playful feedback, using it consistently across the product felt overwhelming and visually chaotic.
To maintain clarity and reduce cognitive load, we refined the interaction: the hovered card remains static while the rest subtly fade, keeping the focus without distraction.

Catalog Page Explorations
In redesigning the category page, we began by analyzing user personas, their objectives, and entry points whether they were new or returning users. We then focused on essential UX elements to optimize the experience: personalized content delivery, streamlined navigation, clear content hierarchy, and intuitive search and filtering functionalities.
Below are early drafts that reflect this thinking and helped shape the final direction.

Draft #1
We tested a minimal “clear-all” interface with fixed filters on the left. While the approach provided a clean and straightforward experience, it felt overly technical and lacked the richness that reflects the system’s full depth and diversity.

Draft #2
We initially explored a Netflix-style horizontal scrolling layout with sliding cards. As we added all lesson cards into the design, we experimented with extra-small card variations to fit more content on-screen. However, this approach resulted in visual overload and a high cognitive load
