The What & The How

Problem Space

Program pages were static and impersonal, making it hard for users to connect with their chosen field or explore their fit.

Value Proposition

A short, personalized interactive game matches users’ traits to a study program, boosting confidence, engagement, and informed decision-making.

Key Decisions

Designing for Positive Experience

Ensured that every user receives an encouraging score (above 85%) to create a sense of success and to boost user motivation and confidence.

The 15 percent range reflects how many traits match while keeping scores high, creating a clear gap between partial and full compatibility.

Thoughtful Trait Selection

Limited selection to four to six traits to encourage thoughtful choices, prevent random clicks, and ensure meaningful, reliable results.

Trustworthy Interface

Created a clean, accessible, and friendly interface that aligns with the site’s aesthetic while conveying warmth and trust.

Management

Developed the game as a reusable, independent component, easily embeddable with editable text and images

Solution

An editable, program specific banner that guides users into the personality match game.

A clear headline, short supporting text, engaging visuals, and a focused call to action make it easy to scan and inviting to explore.

Project Conclusion

When Design Listens, Users Trust

Trust grows when users feel their actions genuinely shape what happens. Using interactivity as a form of conversation between user and system turns attention into connection and design into dialogue. The experience was crafted to let users act with intention while feeling guided, not controlled.

Limiting choices, providing immediate feedback, and keeping the interaction short and focused were deliberate ways to foster cognitive involvement and a sense of perceived control dont mistake we could still ensure the type of outcome by desising a formela in this case we wanted to enure a postive outcome so the rusket ia always postive but to make it fill a releative and keep the user control thier is a cup btween how posstive it is
